I got to see The Goodies perform live in Sydney in 2005. The best bit was when they came out in three wheelchairs linked together. The show would air on ABC primetime around 5:30pm. I found Tim’s impassioned monologues praising the monarchy baffling as a kid. This is a devastating break in the Goodies bike chain of colour, magic, silliness and brilliance.
